For decades Congress came to power with Dalit and uper caste combination votes in UP,Bihar,AP and many other states.The OBC's played their card , BJP weaned away uppercast votes and Mayawati won the Dalit votes,thereby making Congress bite dust. Now Mayawati has hijacked the Congress formula.If she is able to forge the same alliance in other states she will become a big force in no time. But of course she should do some development work to sustain the vote bank.
