Ram is astha, atma, pran, shwas, ethos, culture, sanskriti what not of this country alone but of other countries like, Combodia, Compuchia, Indonesia, Trinidad & Tobago, Surinam, Guyana, Mauritious, and so many others as well. These other countries look towards INdia for their religious emotional fulfillment. The Govt. of India has made an ass of itself by filing such an affadavit. It was the result of over enthusism on the part of some officials and casual attitude of ministers like Ambika Soni and Bhardwaj. They wanted to prove their loyality towards Sonia Gandhi who is supremo of the country. Poor Man Mohan Singh was not aware of this as reported in the papers. He was informed by LK Advani when they met in the evening in a diplomatic dinner party. Immediately after going back home PM called Bhardwaj in the night and instructed him to retrace. Next day morning he again asked him to issue a press statement confirming the withdrawl of affadavit. PM referred even Guru Granth Sahib where name of Lord Rama has repeadtely been mentioned. So in my opinion why not these two ministers - Soni and Bhardwaj be removed immediately for their casualness because the affadavit was supposed to have been vetted by their ministries. Poor ASI people, they deserve my sympathies...
