Desouza,coal is hardly the right option given its contribution to pollution and global warming. This is being debated the world over, wind energy is in no way anywhere near enough to keep up with the energy demand in India. It is at best a supplement to the primary source. We have thermal power plans running at full production capacity all over, there is no other solution but to adopt nuclear power for future energy needs.
