V Ravi is embarassed, now trying to give spin.
To the best of my finding, temple ritual was done because:
1. He could not produce something that would have proved his Sons were Hindu.
2. There were people (other than his Son and grandson) along with them who visited the temple were not Hindu.
Non-Hindus are not allowed in Hindu temple all over India. And its not going to change just like that.
Neither State, or Court can interfere. Ideally Ravi should have taken up this issue with SNDP and temple authorities and resolved this.
