RE:Lack of education breeds feudalism
by Shantih on Dec 30, 2007 08:50 PM

it is truly pathetic to see our subcontinent's fake democracy. how can one nominate a successor in a will, and call it democracy. we are just slightly better in that rahul gandhi was not made king in his teenage, though if the congress sycophants had their way, he wouldve been. what has changed in the subcontinent in all these centuries - nothing. yes, a small fraction has become internationally aware and english educated and expresses outrage here as we are doing, but the masses have not changed. we dont vote, and even if we did, we would be heavily outnumbered. so feudalism and monarchy will stay for a long time to come.
