Bloody English Media
by Ravi Kumar on Dec 24, 2007 09:07 PM

In the past 2 months, the english media has blown issues out of proportion regarding Modi. They were desperate to see him lose. Now they lost their face. For example, the Times of India is so shamelessly pro-congress that I stopped reading that paper. the ToI editorial says freedom of speech is important but taslima nasreen should not have hurt the sentiments of muslims. I wonder why they didn't say the same thing when MF Hussain hurt the sentiments of hindus.

I do not approve of the riots that took place in gujarat. they were a shame on Indian democracy. Killing any one no matter his/her religion is a horrible thing to do. The trauma that the families undergo will make everyone cry. But the english media never projects the same hatred against congress sponsored riots or against communist sponsored nandigram. they say that these are different issues.

It is exactly this double standards that force me to support the BJP (even though I wish they started respecting Muslims as any other citizens of this country.)

yeah, the hypocrites of the worst kind. they keep repeating the message of pogrom in gujurath, while there were 10 times the number of people killed in punjab in the sikh riots. why not take up that issue you blasted english media ? Times of india is the leading one amongst them.
