Case against US website for defaming Puri deity
by balajee ks on Dec 17, 2007 06:54 PM

If you deeply investigate such defamations, abuse would have been started by an Indian or Indo-American co. I feel Americans dont have to do this. But what is wrong in using a name. For ex. we, in India, commonly use 'Lord Venkateswara Beer', 'Hanuman wines', 'Laxman Banian', 'Lakshmi wines Bar attached' etc. proudly displaying the respective Gods in the name boards. What action has been taken? Have we come across names of Muslim or Christian faith in such things? Big No. for ex. 'Jesus Wine bar attached'. I am really at loss to know why such hue and cry are raised regarding this.
