RE:Gujarat murders are not even 1 twentyeth of kashmir
by kalyan chaubey on Dec 11, 2007 06:51 PM

Your argument is same as the fundamentalist argument, "they" are doing "against" us in palestine, why cant we do the same thing in Kashmir that "they" are doing in Palestine? Whatever happening in Kashmir does not justify whatever happening in Gujarat. Two wrongs can never make one right. Is it a question of retaliation? Against whom? Those who are nothing to do with the Kashmir issue!!!! If you call Aurengzeb a Satan, admit that Modi is also one. And stop calling Mahatma Gandhi a Gujrati, if you think Modi is the emblem of "Gujarati Asmita".....It is the problem with us today. Either we are for BJP or for the secularists....But there should be an impartisan and independent platform of "civil society" which will voice the human concerns and speak in a civilised voice. Anti-community feeling is self-destructive. At the height of Hitler rule all Germans used to thing the same way you are thinking today. Only after the world war 2 they understood what they had lost. More than humiliating defeat in the war, they lost the prosperous centre of excellence named Germany in which the jews were an integral part. Kashmir, Pakistan, bangladesh- all lost their edge after they turned "anti-community". Many of my family members were killed in bangladesh. We fled the place. We had the biggest land there. What happened? Today the same men come and tell us to return. Because they lost all the subsistence once we left them.
