The following must be adopted by muslims in India in general and in backward states like: UP, MP in particular. 1. Compulsory family planning and restricting no of kids to 2. 2. No polygamy. 3. Compulsory education to both boys and girls, in government or private schools and not in Madrasas. 4. Espousing of liberal values like: tolerance, participation in national games and Festivals like: diwali/dusserha, liberal arts, and denouncing of fatwas/mullas/osamas.
These steps will go a long way in clearing their own identity crisis and pave the way for national integration and muslim prosperity.
