Bangalore and Karnataka have always been kind to immigrants - be it for education, employment or medical treatment. It's perhaps the only state where the locals speak your language rather than you trying to pick up some Kannada. Please do not get abuse your hosts - we have treated our guests well. Only minority in Bangalore are now Kannadigas (30% or so) - this is a clear testimony of our hospitality.
