Minority Bashing
by Amandeep Singh on Aug 02, 2007 05:26 PM

This discussion board has just become a minority bashing platform for a few communal minded fellows. For them only Hindus are the rightful citizens of India and all others are devoid of any rights. They have stereotyped all minorities as terrorists and fundamentalists.

Infact such a division has only been a result of divisive society propagated by some upper class urban hindus. A handful of them think that they are the leaders of the nation. They cannot think about anybody from minorities and oppresed classes getting his rightful due. They do not hesitate to call them names like Mulla, Katua, Sardar, Chamar no matter how dignified and cultured that person may be.

Come on fellows. Think like Indians. In my overseas trips, I have always given the example of India as a diverse and tolerant nation, where the minorities are holding highest positions in the government irrespective of their numbers.

As far as Dr. Haneef is concerned, Bangalore police has denied giving any dossier to Australian authorties and have clarified that no links have been found with radical organisations.

I hope sanity will prevail in Indian public and they would try to think rationally and objectivly without blasting any community.
