Sai, you really make me sigh at Rediff with exasperation. You are always the first to write disparagingly of the "hawkish", "hardline" "Hindu right-wingers" blaming them for most ills. And now you're suddenly oscillating in the opposite direction, in one of your convenient mood-swings.
You remind me of the liberal left-wing US President in the Tom Clancy book "The Sum of All Fears" who is confronted by Jack Ryan. That president was pursuing naively liberal and dovish policies of appeasement, and when his country suffers a massive terrorist attack, he immediately wanted to nuke Qom.
I wish India had a Tom Clancy novelist to parody not just the stupidity of our dovish Neville Chamberlain politicians, but also ignorant weather-vane columnists like yourself.
