Stop blaming the rains
by Govindaraju Athmanathan on Aug 02, 2005 02:51 PM

Mumbai has several major problems such as housing, infrastructure, environment, and lack of resources for this commercial city, which is certainly not sufficient for about 20 million people. We must re-structure the city by creating more suburban cities like New-Mumbai.

Transportation in Mumbai's is other major problem. Kurla Thane Additional pair of lines (just for 15 K.M) takes more than 10 years to build. I can see only a major development in Mumbai for the past 10 years is fly over bridges.

But, our brave Mumbaiiyas will make sure that the great city in India will bounce back soon. Ofcourse, this is Mumbaiwalas, who first started helping affected people by providing food, water etc. before the government realised the problem.
