Its certainly good times for Vipul Shah and the booking charts wholeheartedly agree with us. Waqt has opened to a speedstart response with tickets selling like hotcakes. The director seems to have done a fair job with the heavy-duty emotional drama. The IndiaFM camera captured bulk crowds at New Empire. From collegians to professionals, housewives & aunty variety, its a healthy mix that should keep the houseful boards steady.

People have declared the film as a family entertainer with all its drama, dollops of tears, laughter and likeable music. But performances in the film is what has got people excited. Amitabh Bachchan as most agree has delivered a knockout performance. There is nobody better says a middle-aged movie-goer. Boman Irani and Rajpal Yadav have given people their tickets worth of laughs. Priyanka Chopra & Shefali Shah find little mention with ticket buyers. But its Akshay Kumar who seems to have the unanimous vote of the audiences. Akshay has given a brilliant performance this is the buzz among the crowds.

In a nutshell, the start is splendid and the film looks all poised to see a good Waqt at the boxoffice.
