lower NAV is myth is wrong
by parag k mehta on May 07, 2008 11:48 AM

Two points to prove it wrong:
1. lower nav gives us more number of units which are always benefitial when dividends are declared, as dividends are given per unit that you hold.
2. if you buy lower nav funds say any NFO then the probability of it going down by even NFO value (which is 10) are very less. Also, news funds don't deviate too much for atleast coming 1 year or so from the defined nomenclature. Only risk with new funds is that it's not proved fund but benefit is to get more number of units and relatively less risk.
