My economics is very poor. However, I have a few suggestions which I am planning to start following myself from today. 1. Use my car & bike to the minimum. 2. Walk as much as I can. 3. Reduce the LPG usage by cooking fewer dishes. 4. Save energy by switching off fans and lights if not in use. 5. Use public transport. I am not sure if this would help but I feel that the demand for import would definitely come down for oil and have a cascading effect to bring down the prices. If by raising Rs5.00 has brought down the number of customers at the petrol pumps resulting in lesser demand thereby brining down the oil prices by 96 cents, think about the effect it will have if we all try and consciously save energy at all fronts. Please correct my logic or give more suggestions. Jai Hind
