On Responsibility,,
by vikas aditya on Aug 27, 2008 12:01 AM

On responsibility: Industry needs to be concerned with stopping the flow of citizens to the urban areas and creating livelihoods in the rural areas for them. They need to understand that they have a responsibility that goes beyond just making their products and producing a good bottom line. They have a responsibility that covers the 60-odd per cent of the population that is not industrialised and that is in the rural community.

That's what the point is..the effort should to do development all around and effort should not be to deriorate the living spaces (cities) as businesses are doing..why not to colocate offices and residential complexes within campuses ? Has been done by so many whether Navratan like BHEL, SAIL and even by Tisco. Why not put all the IT people in one place (by creating one) to work and live? it will remove the pressure from the cities and development will happen in new places and areas. Why do we need 10s of offices in any crowded city of india? thousands of employess from thousands of homes travel in thousands of vehicle cris crossing the city..does that makes sense??

Think about it!
