YES i think we do need atleast 3 more IITs. The standard of the institution will not go down just because the number of seats increased. In fact it will do good for the nation because there are many more students who deserve to study in prime institutes and miss out because of less no of seats. For a country as populous as ours havin lots of talented and intelligent students having 12 IITs is no big deal.
