REC's have their standards and values all over the world.It's better if we upgrade Other Universities like Anna,lucknow,Osmania,etc Universities to IIT's so that there will be more quality educational centres in India.Alos REC's are standardised to NIIT's and so they don't need to be again given IIT standards.
