We don't need more IIT's

To quote ex-IITM director words, IITs are islands. We don't mix with the outside worls and we will not allow outsiders to mix with us. IIT currciculum is of international standards meeting up with research requirement more than the industry requirement. IITs never compromise on diluting their standards come what may. Increasing more IIT's would mean dilution of standards in entrance examination to invite more people to join IITs which works against the motive of having IITs in the first place. Cut the crap. Dont do that
