At the present situation and condition of the studies there is not much need for more IIT's. The government could not be able to provide proper placements for the present IITians and after more IIT's this problem may further be increased. Instead they can spend the same amount for upgrading or improving the quality of the education in some the reputed insititutions and also can improve the quality of primary and secondary education in the rural areas such that they too can avail the oppurtunity for higher education. hope improving the number of iits may create a problem and further the quality of the present educaion in the iit's may go down. Also the government can try to improve the necessary infrastructure for the present.
