This is again another example of how a 'blinded' hrd minister can go further to. Just how he evades reasoning and supports fallacity. IITs aren't shops which can be franchised. This step will lead to dilution of the brand value of what constitutes an IITian and ultimately lead to lowering of the IIT quality overall. I find it hard to understand how the minister can run the ministry like it is his playground . Ofcourse he is a minister but he has been elected to the office and the hrd ministry is not his office. Its time he stops gimmicks like saffronising education and increasing the number of IITs. Is the PM listening ?
