When I was a kid and I used to see Kapil play for India I used to think that there cannot be an Indian Cricket team without Kapil but it did not happen like that. Similarly Indian team can thrive without Sachin too. Same is the case with Saurav, Rahul, Anil and VVS. I think they should retire on their own rather than forced to but yes age should not be the only criteria for retirement.
