One Indo-Pak team played against Sri Lanka years ago. Indo-Pak-Bangla team may be formed easily and played side by side the regular teams. There can be matches with Zonal Teams and national sides and the combined IPB team. Actually so many players are in the reckoning in cricket that some brilliant players are left out of the national side, but their appeal to the crowd or apetite for good game remains the same. In the Indian national side players like, Laxman, Kaif ,Nehra, Pawar, Partiv Patel, and a host of promising rising talents from the Ranji winners, runners up, and other teams could not find any place for the obvious reason. Same thing happens in other nieghbouring nations as well. Out of so many only 11 can be picked up. In India a tournament like challenger trophy or Ranji matches only these players can be accommodated. Why not give them some good exposure with an IPB team, with parallel hosting of tournaments after the World Cup? Such arrangements will turn out to be popular in the given condition of popularity of the sport in the sub continent. Moreover so called national left outs and budding talents may also find some opportunitites to get match practice and remain in the contention for selection in the national side. Besides it would encourage good neighbourly relations as well.
