The Lord's of Cricket may not be able to stand the meteoric rise of Cricket in the sub-continent and its economic impact. The Indians are an envied lot, they are rich, they can bring in the crowd, they can increase the revenue and without them, the game will loose the charm. So it is more than natural to see Indian players being penalized for every single infringement. Punishment is the only power that is still resting with the Lords. However, it is sad to hear about Dave Richardson's comments. Anyway, so be it, he was a respected figure amoung the Indian criketing community, and he lost it, following the path of his predecessor Clive Lloyd.
