Worth a ruling
by Soumitra Goswami (View MyPage) on Mar 15, 2018 05:24 PM

Still Aadhaar system is proven without problem no such enforcement should be allowed. I made rounds over various centres for changing biometrics, even four times updated bio-metrics but still not able to register mobile. I was seriously thinking to shun all services and depend on destiny to pull rest of my life and stopped using soap so that I get proper finger print. It requires to find credible alternate of finger print recognition as it is seriously flawed and no private party should be allowed to collect Aadhaar data.

Will never be mandatory
by Geetha RM (View MyPage) on Mar 14, 2018 04:51 AM

They can never close lakhs of bank accounts and disconnect lakhs of mobile connections (for political reasons). So, like all other plans of NM, Aaadhar linking will be a total failure.

Any measure to increase accountability is good. These courts are part of the corruption lot and will not easily allow aadhaar to be a successful venture as it increases transparency.

Hurray Supreme Court - now make it permanent - Aadhar not needed
by Mohan Rajan (View MyPage) on Mar 13, 2018 10:59 PM

Three cheers to Supreme Court for finally realising that Aadhar cannot be made mandatory, till decision by Supreme court in the case is reached. now urge supreme court to hold that except for cases of direct benefits paid by government, Aadhar cannot be made mandatory for anything else. Aadhar is huge waste of scarce resources of money, time, paper & so many other precious resources. Aadhar is monstrous infringement of privacy, centralisation of data by Aadhar is totally suicidal, horrible security levels & breaches make it absolutely intolerable. Modi Government needs to realise tremendous pains, losses faced by vast majority of citizens due to its policies of demonetisation ( 30 million jobs lost, more than 200 people killed ), extremely poor implementation of GST, Useless focus of aadhar, retrospective unfair amendments, bloated cost of rafale, hugely wasteful bullet train project, totally uncalled for waste of focus on religious issues and so many other dreadful destrutions, damages done.

Aadhaar no aadhaar
by ramachandiran nil ramiah (View MyPage) on Mar 13, 2018 10:36 PM  | Hide replies

The BJP govt. try to fool the public by ensuring things like aadhaar and wasting huge govt. money and time allowing people who has to escape escape easily. The Govt. is also corrupt and making huge money for the party which need not be accounted and all senior leaders can enjoy that money and throw dust over the eyes of the public. This much dictatorial attitude is bad for a democratic country and moving towards capitalism without increasing the per capita income is dangerous and will make more Indians poor. Enforcing the existing laws strictly is sufficient to control the corrupt.

Aadhar and democracy
by sasidharan (View MyPage) on Mar 13, 2018 10:16 PM

Democracy is described as a system of governance for the people by a majority.Really it is a foolery and nothing of that sort is seen now a days.It is really a distorted form of governance in which any thing is possible if some influentials want it to be.A unique identification system is good but, must be devoid of errors. The unique identification authority, while introducing aadhar, out sourced the connected works to some wretched organisations like KELTRON in kerala and they sold it some private parties, who were illiterate in digitisation. The mobile number and e-mail id recorded by citizens were not entered in records and now they are forced to seek rectifications.Democracy must reflect the aspirations, whims and attitude of the people or else it will be a mere doomocracy and at last the people will think of some other system for governance. The constitution must be amended and all are to be given equel rights and no reservation in future or else the reservation will turn to be a luxuary to some.scrap all reservations and descrimination on any grounds and then only we can boast a democracy.

bench, by taking so long to decide that the govt is nowhere near being as ready as it should be for such an expansive step, appears to have spent all that time racking its brains to try and soften the blow on the govt as much as possible !

Perhaps the judges on the bench hope that this inevitable snub on the govt will not get much public attention !

Infosys the corrupt company first Nandan Nilekarni contested the election on the ticket given by Sonia when defeated he immediately sold his idea to Modi. Modi was deadly against adhaar when he was in opposition, Suddenly started singing melodies for adhaar and forced rigorously. There are millions of people suffering due to not getting subsidies, adhaar data base is faulty. National Payment Corporation of India make the payment though Infosys being the third party all the game of eating public money.

ISFANDIAR, if that is even a name, seem to not know that Infosys is the biggest name in core banking. They practically introduced eBanking in India. So naturally they are the obvious choice for the Govt. So lets clarify that for your ignorant brain. Many people did not get PDS becuase of the confusion by the men manning the PDS about the Aadhaar not really required to get the PDS items. That was clarified already. Also all the Aadhaar tied subsidies are getting delivered to our banks seamlessly. So i dont know what you are gawking about.

Dont understand why Judiciary interfering with Administration
by viswanath n (View MyPage) on Mar 13, 2018 08:03 PM  | Hide replies

The Aadhar initiative is not Political but political parties who are opposing, are making it political. Then they approach the Supreme Court to override it. What will the government get if they impose Aadhar ? Isnt it for the benefit of the people to have single Identity. Yes ofcourse, there are bit of loopholes in it, like Security, but like any system it too will evolve and it needs to wait for it. Today we in India, are living in this situation is because of over democracy. The government has become so weak that it is handicapped by extensive freedom given to everyone. Take the case of neighbouring big country, and the one to the left .. they stick to administration by the rule of law and law is imposed without any constraints. The Judiciary doesnt interfer there into the Administration. The Judiciary should know its limits, understand what is good for the society and people not just by proofs, evidences. It is nothing than, destructive. By interfering like this, the judiciary is hindering the progress of the Country.
