it is said that gandhi wanted nehru to become PM because nehru was more outgoing in nature and could develop good relationships with leaders of different countries...and sardar patel knew pulse of the nation and could maintain law and order and discipline in the country with an iron hand...nothing wrong in this thinking...

Do not know much, only know that congress has divided the country on the basis of caste, religion, region etc., for its vote bank as such Secular status of India is diluted. We are in a biased democracy. Today to erase corruption, caste feeling, corruption, criminals, etc.,etc.,is not easy, even our leaders are afraid of talking on population control. Under the circumstances all tax payers money is officially looted by politicians and govt. servants by way of salary, Maharaja like perqs. and post retiral DA linked pension. No one has cared for Kisan and poor for whom everyone is talking since 1947.

The author lives in a delusion.
Todays politics is about messaging.
You must convey what the electorate wants to hear.
It need not be a fact. You twist a perfectly worded statement which ever way you want. Something RaGa the greatest Grandson of India is doing today.
And history is a subject of debate always. There is no truth in it. It works like a double edged sword.

Now tell us on whose IT cell are you on Mr Mishra?

when someone say Sardar sahab not become the first PM because of Nehru, this statement is like a grave joke... will he want to say Sardar sahab just fallow the nehru , he was just come under the pressure of gandhi ji , he was just ignoring whatever nehru is doing , he just let nehru do every wrongdoing for the country ? is this is the quality of the IRON MEN of India.... MOdi ji can only tell the truth... if it is so then Is not the same thing happening with BJP "margdarshak mandal "( Iron men) who has created a BJP has sidelined because of RSS (gandhi ji suggestive body ) and Modi ji playing like nehru !!!!!!!

Both Sardar and Netaji had towering heights that dwarfed Jawahar.

It was Sardar's magnanimity that he consented to Mahatma's rather an indirect suggestion to work in Jawahar's cabinet - under Jawahar, who according to one version, had left the meeting or rather blackmailed Mahatma with a vertical split when he saw there was not a single vote in his favor.

Mahatma sent someone promptly to get Jawahar back and in an undemocratic spirit crowned Jawahar.

Bharatvarsh paid heavily for his volleys of follies.

It was a serious accident right under the very nose of Mahatmaji.

Netaji's doctrine "My enemy's enemy is my friend" would have resulted in nothing but disaster for the country. It was naïve to believe that if the war was won by the axis powers, Japan would have granted us independence.
Gandhi was no fool. He chose Nehru over Patel, because the latter did not inspire confidence among Muslims.

Had Japan won the war, they would have killed some 20 million Indians including imprisoning or killing Subash.
