CAPTAIN WITHOUT A TEAM

THE BJP CAN BARELY RETAIN ITS DEPOSIT IN ALMOST 98% OF THE CONSTITUENCIES IN TN. IT BIS HILARIOUS TO KNOW THAT THE BJP WILL BE A LEADING A FRONT IN SUCH A SETTING . EVEN THE CONGRESS IN TN LOOKS LIKE ONE OF THE DRAVIDIAN PARTIES ; AFTER ALL LOCAL ETHOS DICTATE LOCAL POLITICS . THE CONGRESS WAS FINSIHED OFF IN TN BY HINDI FANATICISM OF LALBAHUDUR SHASTRI WHICH MADE EVEN RAJAJI CAMPAIGN AGGRESSIVELY AGAINST HINDI . THE BJP WITH ITS HINDI LEANINGS WILL NOT EVEN TAKE OFF

It’s a long haul for BJpp
by s kumar (View MyPage) on Aug 12, 2018 10:10 AM

It’s a long haul for BJpp . Both kangress and Bjpp are considered heartland culture parties with no connect with people of TN. . Regional party’s support is sought only to cross parliamentary minority and some minstrial berths thrown in bargain. So their fight against regional parties is not even halfhearted. So the show goes on for regional parties

What ideology, commitment, tamil cause etc. Tamils will sell their votes to the highest bidder. Parties will buy votes so that in future no one can ask development question because people have already been paid for their votes.

his legacy? ---and a very good manipulator. His legacy is manipulation" "He was also a very good team man" who broke the team of D.M.K. immediately after the death of Mr.C.N.A .for his personal aggrandizement . "ideological commitments intact and well-exemplified."Making the State with high corruption level and making DMK the propriety of a house hold does't speak of ideological commitment.Even finding a place for him in Annadurai's memorial is a disgraceful act towards Annadurai.Annadurai is above all these lot in service of Tamil and TamilnaduR.PONNAMBALAM

The real fight in TN politics,
by piri (View MyPage) on Aug 10, 2018 12:11 PM  | Hide replies

according to the writer, is between the DMK led formation (which won more than 40 % of the total votes in the last election) and the BJP (which won all of 2.6 % of the total votes) !!

And......according to the Centre for Media studies, the BJP spent nearly as much as the DMK in election campaigning and propaganda in Tamil Nadu in the last election of 2016 !!

Some real fight that !!

Since Mr Modi as PM of India TN people come to know of him. AS OF DATE it is negative popularity only. Regarding the party supremo, he is least known to anybody in TN. Among the local party BJP heads, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan is known to many people because of her father Mr Kumari Ananthan and his brother Mr Vasanthakumar (MLA) who are still active members of Congress. In fact it seems that she gets negative popularity only. Mr Pon Radhakrishnan, Central Minister has some popularity in his constituency (only), in case DMK and Cong had allied together, he will be got defeated. Others are least known to anybody. That is the reason they got about less than 3% votes here hither to. During the last election held BJP ally had a vote share of about 18% - the reason being VijayaKanth party had about 7-8% votes and Anbumani Ramdass had about 5-6% votes and remaining are from other fringe groups. It is likely that there is no chance of Vijayakanth's party as he himself fallen sick-finds difficult to speak.

As the author said, AIADMK is likely to be shambled and their vote share is the biggest question. However as of date it is difficult to predict that DMK may or may not get its vote share.
Kamal & Rajni are yet to be tested and reported vote share may be upto 10% put together. May not get any win if contested individually but will be a spoiler. If Rahul devote more time there are more chances for Cong & DMK ally

All this is non sense. TN has a sychophant population with no ideology. They will sell their votes and this time around BJP will attempt to pay the highest price which no one else can match.

Abe ever stinking, Kaliye, instead of counting votes of BJP all the time why don’t you count vote share of the party you blindly support on allIndia level? Why you party and it’s ideology constantly rejected by the people of this country ? Why they have only16 seats out of total 786 seats in both House of Parliament ? Why they lost power in Tripura after 25 years rule ? Abe Kaliye, first look into your home first before pointing your dirty, stinking fingers at others.

As man from Kerala, I can say that Kerala is state of clerks and peons. You have no business to criticise any one because till date the state has not produced a single intellectual of international repute like Dr. C.V. Raman, Dr. Subramaniam Chandrasekhar, DFr. Abdul Kalam, Dr. Ramakrishnan Venkataraman, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, mathematician Ramanujan and the list is endless of the neighbouring state. No industry. A state of clerks and peons. Kerala has a population which will change its religion also if it gets an opportunity to go abroad (mid east I mean). They will join ISIS also if money is offered.

Congress is to be renamed as KK (Karnataka-Kerala) Congress and only in these states it has insignificant presence. In other states, they lose their deposits in every election.

No north Indian party had established it's all Indian credentials. In this regard both congress and BJP are the same. There are plenty of acts done in disfavour of Tamilnadu&Tamil by the Central Govt.True ,DMK under Karunanidhi was a great disappointment with it's family driven Politics and corruption. The state has come down in many aspects .That has to be redefined to refined to decent Politics.BJP is not an alternative in Tamilnadu.BJP is trying with one queen, one Bishop, one rook etc drawing this or that man like in Chess board. It hurts that Karunanidhi did great disservice by bringing down the political integrity culture from Annadurai's level to JJ and her coterie level.Where are reasonably good candiadates?R.Ponnambalam
