Whatever said and done, certain political parties are eyeing the media for electoral mileage in the name of anti-slaugther. Instead of crying hoarse, can they as responsible political entities, educate and ask people to desist from eating meat, for the plain fact that meat-eating is an unsustainable practice and cruel at that? All animal slaughter has to stop at one point in time as our resources are getting depleted faster than we can comprehend. The movie 'Cowspiracy' is bound to help people see the 'other side of the coin', how meat-eating is wrecking our 'sustainability' factor.
Animal agriculture is responsible for 18 percent of greenhouse gas emissions, more than the combined exhaust from all transportation. How can anybody justify supporting this? Meat-farming robs the commons, the learned Courts have to factor the load-bearing capacity of the commons, therein answering the sustainability of meat-eating. Livestock is responsible for 65% of all human-related emissions of nitrous oxide – a greenhouse gas with 296 times the global warming potential of carbon-dioxide, and which stays in the atmosphere for 150 years. Even without fossil fuels, we will exceed our 565 gigatons CO2e limit by 2030. Can we 'sustain' ourselves at this rate by wanton meat-eating?
We, Indians have perfected the art of obscuring issues and throwing red herrings. The purpose of the present bill is not to ban meat consumption. It is for the purpose of keeping, transporting , selling and finally slaughtering the animals in a humane manner. In a country where the licensed slaughter houses are outnumbered by illegal kabelas by a factor of hundred (or even more), where the cattle are smuggled in suffocating conditions, where barbaric methods are applied to kill them, the first priority of the government is to get humane and least painful methods in place. Those who are shouting to heavens about the government action must ponder over how much suffering was endured by the animal before its meat ended in their plates.

Sir , Your true but Government implementing law should provide sufficient facilities. License & built government Slaughter houses , This Government is problem, without thinking imposing laws.
The communists of India don't believe in Democracy, religion etc. But they shout for democracy. While others cheat the people in the name of religion, secularism the communists of india cheat people in the name of socialism. there is no real socialism in the whole world; leave alone in India. Most communists world over follow the plicy of expansionism indirectly in the garb of socialism.

Freedom of speech is available to those who can speak and write anything against practical and real truth, but not to those who can speak hardcore, unavoidable and inevitable truths. This is Kaliyuga.
