After World War II, it has become an international practice to exchange spies, not execute them.

Pak always disowns their people
by Truth Prevails (View MyPage) on May 19, 2017 10:08 AM

Pak just disowns their citizens who are caught in India, so there is no way PAK will approach ICJ for release of its people

If a nation defies ICJ's directives
by vilas apte (View MyPage) on May 19, 2017 09:21 AM  | Hide replies

There have been 2 recent instances when nations defied the ICJ's directives. First USA on Nicaragua in 1986,and then China in 2016, in the South China Sea. Both the nations just ignored the ICJ's order, infact China has built a few more man made islands there and installed missile launchers. It is to be seen whether Pakistan to defies. One thing is certain that Pakistan is not China or USA.

It may be true that Pakistan is not China or US but ICJ has no mechanism to get its orders implemented.

ICJ Verdict: Rejoice, But be Wary!

Mr.Rajeev Sharma, use ICJ and gather world opinion for your own benefit, but when it comes to you enemies spies act like Russia, USA and Israel. Gather world opinion diplomatically when you are on the backfoot but strike hard when you have the benefit of hitting hard first. What you have written as an article is known to everyone, and there is no new insight in your article. Please desist from using costly space for such common sense statements.

Well Said Anilji.
I fully support your views.
This guy appears to be one aspiring to get Pat on the Back by the "Award Wapasi" Gang. We should ignore such write ups.

ICJ's judgement may not be honoured, as per Vienna Convention.
by shirish (View MyPage) on May 18, 2017 11:19 PM

International Court of Justice (ICJ) is just a platform to get a decision by some neutral third party.
ICJ is not above Supreme Court of any other country.
A judgement given by ICJ may not be honoured by any country. It is moral binding on the country for which an order is passed by ICJ, to honour ICJ's judgement.
I am not sure, whether Pakistan will honour ICJ's judgement in favour of Jadhave, for counsular access and to stay his hanging.
Let us wait and watch.
