DEFENCE PERSONNEL'S WARDS EDUCATION
by suresh kumar on Dec 08, 2017 01:05 PM

Government cannot belittle the sacrifice of defence personnel, by depriving of the benefits given to their children especially in education. Huge cuts to be made on the expenses of the MPs. Politicians need to lead from the front and not claim for more benefits.

PERKS
by Naresh Mehta on Dec 08, 2017 06:46 AM

It seems that the Government is bent upon destroying the Basic Fibre of the Defence forces.
The bureaucrats who want to impress upon their Bosses by showing the cut in the expenditure fiddle with the Armed forces Perks.Because they DARE not touch other organisations. The Defence personnel can NOT show their anguish by any means. They have to swallow these type of INSULTS.
Now a days a situation has come that any bully can
use its 'muscle' to reduce the welfare of the Defence personnel.Because they are "Easy Preys" or one can say "SOFT TARGETS"
I think the economy of the Country can not be improved by fiddling with the welfare of the Defence Personnel.
If you want a make the Nation STRONG, you must look after the Defence Forces in a proper way.

stop LADF and spend for education of martyr's children
by R ponnabalam on Dec 08, 2017 05:29 AM

The Govt. can do well to stop the Local Area development Fund for M.P.'s and M.L.A's and spend that money on the education of children of martyrs. To any child the very presence of his or her father worth millions;the feeling of care and protection from father is unmatched. They should be well taken care of by the Govt.R.PONNAMBALAM

Soldier's sacrifice and government's double standards
by jitender singh on Dec 07, 2017 04:51 PM

Irrespective of which ruling party, the government is taking soldiers for granted. If you ask them how they see a soldier, they will beat their chest (as if they'll break it) and say they have utmost respect for the soldier.
On ground, they put cap on medical facilities, education fund etc. this is the respect!!
Famous say- "A nation which does not respect it's soldier is doomed to fail"

we owe much more
by anil sood on Dec 07, 2017 04:29 PM

we owe much more to the family of soldiers sacrificing for the safety of our nation. Government should not put any cap on their education expenditure. Ready to bear more taxes.

no cap on education for martyrs children
by mukesh pasupuleti on Dec 07, 2017 03:40 PM

Is it not our responsiblity to take of the children who have sacrificed for us and what we have today is due to their sacrifice. the person who have proposed and accepted the notion of keep a cap on the education of the martyrs chidren should stand in the board for 1 week and face the bullets and motars that come very day from the other side of the country. i am surprised and felt ashamed to read this. there are other extra expenditure like foreign or local trips by the elite social elected class . if they stop this they will get the enough money for the education of the children.
