Green Peace or Government ?
by RSS (View MyPage) on Jun 20, 2014 05:48 PM  | Hide replies

Cannot choose who is more corrupt than the other.

But given a choice I would prefer to Save India's Nature and Environment, than side with a Government which would destroy our forests for development and destruction.

What happened to the anti corruption slogan
by Mr Walker (View MyPage) on Jun 20, 2014 09:42 AM

While this report has blamed some NGO's and this has been quickly highlighted by the media no word about how and when the corruption in various govt. agencies will be tackled or has that been sidelined ?

BJP govt. going against its biggest supporters
by Mr Walker (View MyPage) on Jun 20, 2014 09:36 AM  | Hide replies

To me it sounds like the BJP govt. is going against some of its biggest and most staunch supporters either knowingly or unknowingly.
People concerned about the environment were questioning the decisions of UPA and supporting BJP in the hope that they will have a better understanding of the issues.
Also this report has been long in pipeline during previous UPA rule so its not as if BJP created it.

Its funny how the media and everyone is quickly jumping on to it and blaming Greenpeace and other NGO's et al.

Surprisingly it was first Chidambaram from the previous UPA regime who raised this issue when allegations of widespread corruption in government at that time were happening.

Seems like we have a new avatar of the same Chidambaram coming up in BJP

Greenpeace foundation and their suspicious activities
by P S SHAH (View MyPage) on Jun 20, 2014 09:02 AM  | Hide replies

Greenpeace is definitely indulging in the activities which is harmful to the prospects and future of our nation. Based on the intelligence report, as per the amendment in law, government should immediate initiate a legal proceedings under criminal law. There is a common logic that foreign countries will not give huge funds to such doubtful NGO to carry out activites for the progress of any nation. All NGOs like Greenpeace should be brought under the rights of information act and let the common people should know their real activities and motive.

if you think Greenpeace is against BJP or Modi per se you are completely wrong they were supporting Modi for some of his good causes.
In fact when negative media reports appeared against Modi the environmental achievements he did were the only positive things about him.

Why can't to mind your own business ? Modi is quite smart and understand who are here to harm the interest of India. Greenpeace is not NGO like that of Mother Teresa who do a real work for the people. Why intelligence department has found vert few NGOs including Greenpeace suspicious of their harmful activities ?

Not all business are mutually beneficial, but are done..

As long as the outside money is coming, and your assessment of gains is more than risk or potential costs, business can be done.

Every player enters the Casino, with the wish to empty it, but house did not ban players based on intention. It sets rules of play in such as way, that at the end it’s the Winner, not the player who entered with the intent, to empty it.

Just an example, if I get irritated by people constantly stopping me to give my bank details for donation to some charity, I ask the person, ‘do you donate to this charity by your self?’

If the person says ‘No’, then I say, ‘Why do you expect me to do something, which you cannot do by yourself? I also do hard work, no one deposit free money in my account.’

If the person says ‘Yes I donate’, then I ask for his bank receipts, if the person show receipts, then I say, ‘ I got to spend my time and resources to verify your receipts, so are you ready to pay my service-fees, which might be much more than I can donate?’

Anyway no one ever said, ‘Yes to my offer’, seriously I don’t know why?
