a loud response is needed
by javahermit on Jul 14, 2006 03:54 AM

It is very sad that I am stuck here working, running after my dreams while my nation is suffering.

Non-violence, lawfullness has been a weakness for my nation.

To make my stand easy to understand please watch \'MUNICH\'. Such incidents should not go unanswered and replies should not go unheard of.

No nation is rich, its people who make it rich. The system should find a way to use harness this wealth for its protection.

Mumbai blasts

I totally agree with the article of Nitin Chowda
http://www.rediff.com/news/2006/jul/12nri.htm
I had a burst of feelings so very helpless about what I could do to help people who are going through the badtimes as a result of the blasts.
I request all the friends who have taken time to write for this message to post actual information about ways to send resources to organisations which are willing to help. May be our efforts can be like drops of water), but it can help and bring smile to a Mumbaikar and make us proud to be a INDIAN!!!

sorry, in India people live among the devils who prosper and mint money in Politics, particularly the present ruling parties(coalation). Patriotism gone with the wind. But "people deserve this government" as Mr.Churchil put it. People are made live as Romans in Rome(?).We pray God that a Doomsday come and wash away the wretches.

YOU CAN DO FIVE THINGS FOR INDIA (MUMBAI)
by Independent Thinker on Jul 13, 2006 10:18 AM

I have been thinking about what we can do for our INDIA, people and next generation. I found that if we are born in INDIA, we know its value. BUT our kids and their kids will have no clue who they are and why they should be proud.

SO in Swami vivekanad's words 'Wake up, stand up for your self, and continue working until you fulfill your target that is to unite INDIANS, take cast system out of it. Do not differentiate between INDIAN by cast, open GEETA and read to yourself and all. GEETA is for everybody.

1. Be proud to be INDIAN, Be your own spirit.
2. KNOW YOUR ROOTS, WHO ARE WE. WE are great hearted, respected, great religious people.
3. PASS ON GEETA's words, Gaytri mantra to all kids, relatives, loved ones, Friends, and all INDIANS. REMEMBER VIVEKANAND, Bhagat Singh, Subodhchandra Bose, Sardar Patel, LL Shastri....
4. BE COURAGEOUS, happy, medidate and practice yoga and do not get affected by any foolish actors/movies or other evil sources.
5. Pray good for everyone.

adwaita is our mantra. Read more about vivekand's messages, geeta. I am sure you will find anwers within yourself.

THINK ABOUT THIS.

Mother India's broken body!
by Jennifer Ghoshray on Jul 13, 2006 04:04 AM

My mother shrieked with pain. Her body bent and bowed in crushing blows. Her eyes flowed with droplets of reddish tears. Today, Mother India is in pain. She is my mother. I am her daughter. Today, my tears flowed with pain. My broken Ma is aged and in many ways ugly. She has lots of sores and numerous flaws. Yet, she is my mother. She is the epitome of beauty. She is my Mataji!
In her arms, her children have proven greatness. Sons and daughters of the soil, caress her wrinkles, take strength in her endless wisdom. And yes, flourish even in the midst of horror.
Today, Bharat, you honored your mother. As she staggered from the repeated blasts, you carried her dead away with honour. You offered water to the scared. And bandages to the bloodied.
Here, far across the oceans, my pale skin, and blue-eyes, sings only one heart song. "Jai, Hindustan, Jai!" Moment to moment, my life is driven to the land that, to the sons and daughter of the soil. My guilt ridden NRI friend, shed your shame. Turn your CNN off, put your bread and butter down, and renew your heart song. The true heart song of an NRI, a Newly Reborn Indian. Reclaim the greatness that is India, that is Ma.
