Smart City development is a very new concept theoretically stolen from developed world. I think now realization will come, where copy cat attitude didn't work, go deep in to a indigenous concept which suits the local environment. Further, before developing urban smart cities, rural development around has to be at it's best, otherwise there would be huge migration from rural to urban localities. Therefore slow but steady progress is understandable.

The main source of black money is government officers and PWD officers take 12 percent of every road, bridge and dam work.

IAS and IPS officers and clerks make most of the money including the RTO officers who collect money on the road. Any government comes RTO is forever collecting money no one to stop them. Election time no government in power RTO collecting money. In corruption they do not wait for congress or AAP or any other party they collect money and are not depending on political parties. As soon as election results are announced the newly elected MP and MLA are handed over crores of rupees so clerks and IAS and IPS are not prosecuted.

RTO people make more money when no government is in power and you will see them doing duty overtime. One RTO said in his city there are 24 lakh victims and he and his friends collect 100 to 1000 rupees form each victim collecting more than 500 crores per city out of which 60 percent is black without receipts. They keep penalties high so victims are forced to pay lesser amount and not take receipt. Also receipt books are fake and thrown away. This black money buys houses and real estate worth crores with the black oney transferring to bulders and then it goes to jewellery houses and other places.

Every political party is ditched by govt. servants, as execution part of govt. policies is with govt. servants. At grass root level, their job is secured without any stake, and everyone has many reasons not to perform, as such slow and delay is part of life, till hire and fire policy is not implemented like private sector in govt. deptts.
Smart cities concept is good, but biggest challenge is to deal with defaulting builders who had been over the years playing all dirty game after conniving with authorities and politicians, a close watch is needed to look into investors risk as well as to bring all such for correction.

Modiji's misplaced priorities ,5 star advisers and a bad FM
by KARAN (View MyPage) on May 21, 2017 10:08 AM

After a spectacular victory followed by nonfulfilment of election promises because and very bad FM and the set of 5 star advisers no different from congress regime. But for the small changes modiji is not understood the inadequacy of Arun Jaitley as FM to achieve the poll promises. It looks like,as long as Arun Jaitley is FM ,modiji can not deliver. While it is true that due to very very poor rating of ragul gandi, and support of Muslim women in UP elections, modiji won UP.But soon, the non performance due to FM will start troubling modiji in a very significant way.If millions of jobs are to be created, agriculture to flourish, only one way is to make Dr.Swamy as FM,focus on agriculture through collective farmng, with science ,technology, and engineering to support, giving large emoyment to village youths, ensuring 57% of agro population to enhance its GDP contribution equal to its population engaged in agriculture, making life better for villagers with better housing, running wat ter, sweater treatment, better life for villagers, improving water conservationethids, building lots of agri produce storage units, betteredication, transportation facilities, all leading to more balanced sustainable growth. But if modiji continues his optics then India and BJP will fail.Hence modiji must wake up and put meaningful efforts on agriculture to save BJP and India.

People are suffering from many wants: lack
Of Nutritional Food with the family budget of say Rs 10 k per month for kitchen for at least 40 percent of the Indian Population, while we are busy with smart cities .. Finally we may have dumb people as they may have suffered immensely due to lack of nutrition A quick
Survey shall confirm
That a family of four with monthly income of say Rs 30 k can spend that much on Housing , school costs and healthcare and food . Not every one is entitled to free perks as MPs !!!! I think
It is high time that an amendment is brought in to cancel all pensions and perks of the MPs and MLAs and only genuine Public Servants are in the Political stream . Jai Hind and Vande Matram ,

The failure in making 100 Smart Cities, yet another brain child of Modi launched in 2015 has yet to take off similar to other promises of the PM. May be many may have enriched themselves in the name of Smart Cities,

I have seen this coming. Also I have proposed priorities. Once these are clarified, private funds will come.
