Of-late because of the high cost of labor involved in plucking the coconuts, I was told that in Kerala, the coconut garden owners are only picking the fallen coconuts from the trees. This labor problem has seeped in to Konaseema region of Andhra Pradesh also. Hope soon scientists find a wayout.

What is funny about that, even if it IS him? A hardworking cocunut tree climber can earn 1000-2000 rs per day, in Kerala. In fact they make more money than post graduate doctors! People like you with no netiquete or common sense would laugh like an idi.. ot.
I thought this guy_developed some machine which has_wheels and can be_fixed on the coconut_tree.
Then by using a_remote,the car can be_moved up the_tree and then while it reaches near the coconut_bunch,a sharp_cutting_blade is released from the car to_cut off the_coconut from the tree..Meanwhile,everything is_monitored in a computer at ground to make sure so that the blade_strikes at the right place..
A man using a mobile_phone and internet_to climb_a_coconut_tree can never be_termed as hitech_coconut_plucking...
