Trumpet-blowing balderdash
by June on Jul 18, 2010 09:25 PM  | Hide replies

This article seems to portray a very erudite picture of journalists which is unfortunately untrue. I have belonged to the same fraternity and know that they barely see beyond their own noses.

Whether you intended to or not, it's hard to miss the irony in your comment, when it is trying very hard to appear as erudite while blaming jounalists of the same.

Agree with june. Humour should be self-deprecating. This is pretentious.

Stop Praising Yourself
by Zeng on Jul 17, 2010 06:04 PM

You guys are never known for your bravery, How many Rediff journalists died in last 10 years while reporting something? Forget Jawans and policemen, even a driver has a much more riskier job.

Also stop thinking that you guys are Sherlock Holmes. An average smart person can fool you people and with a bit og googling, can dig up a lot about you.

Anyway, I guess dating a journo is plain stupid - they spend far too much time for the kind of money they make and they take jobs home. Who want to date a girl / guy who think about work during a romantic dinner?

Will suffer from verbal diarrhea.

If you want to avoid being infected by verbal diarrhea avoid a journo.Even while watching news one finds it difficult to stand the unending flood of words from the reporter at the spot and the insipid question by the anchor.

Why is no name given, who has written the article. One thing for sure you never run short of words whilst dating a Journo!
