In that case, let someone else go before you, and carefully follow in their tracks.
Actually all are very good suggession and that are helpful. if the person follow this rules then definetely there will very less chance to happen an accident.
but for one sugession that someone will go before thenafter you will go... its not good... because this rules also for that someone as per my opinion...
good article. But guys u better go to a site called team bhp for comprehensive info on evthing vehicle related..you will come back to say thanks to me, i am sure

Hi Suresh, definitely a good and informative site suggested by you. Thanks for the info here....
Do you think that in our country, such rules will be followed. On highways, average speed of cars and heavy vehicles is 80 kmph irrespective of any season. People are not aware of rules. Nowadays people are driving cars and two wheelers in city. They cut lanes very swiftly and make a miserable condition for person who is following lane discipline. 1)Many Car drivers(and two wheelers)I dont know what ego problem they have to turn dipper beam when somebody requests. They continue in high beam.Risky in rainy season because you can have blind crash anywhere. One example in Pune I experienced A Zen was having upper beam.I flashed the upper-dipper switch and the driver stopped car in front of me and in quarrelsome manner asked me why I was doing so,I explained her that she was driving in upper beam and hence I was telling to use lower beam.In meantime her colleague started explaining her about usage of upper and lower beam. This shows how much aware are we about rules. 2)Also a common scene on narrow roads without dividers. If a car/truck driver sees a two wheeler in front of him while overtaking,he will not switch back to his lane but will continue to overtake and forcing the two wheeler to go off road.(Risky in rains) From above two points In India, people think that if they have big vehicle means they have more rights on road and behave irresponsibly. Even if people behave sensibly and learn to respect each other's rights, accidents will be minimized. But who cares about these rules

One of the most sensible comments on rediff. People should learn rules before driving. Else, they should not complain when their kith and kin get injured or die. I may sound harsh but we Indians have the worst road driving behaviour. Especially people in Hyderabad. I am a hyderabadi myself . I feel it is time to introspect rather than be in a denial mode.

Hi,, I fully agree with u, I feels thr’s two reason for the whole me we see on the road ( specially on the monsoon season) 1) process to get a Driving License: To get DL in India is so easy,, we just need to mug up some road sign’s that’s it and you get ur license ( or pay cash and get one). The same, if you go to US, they have a very clear and well explanatory book available to explain u instructions and regulations. And for each rule mentioned they explain the logical reasoning behind it. To get a driving permit you need to read and remember whole of the book. And once you have permit, behind the wheel test is even tougher. The inspector sitting next to you will not say any thing but will monitor each and everything and as wht you do and how you drive or change lane or merge/exit into other road. I will ask one simple Question : You might have seen Yelloe and White Solid line on the road, how many of us know the difference between them and how many of us follow it ? 2) The team responsible to maintain the roads and Road sign: - After so many years, Still I am not sure as who should be made responsible for loss of life and property due to unmaintained roads and missing Road sign. Do we hv any team who monitors that all road signs are placed at proper place and are well visible from a long distance. The day we know whom to get hold of for all the accidents, I hope after that we may have better roads and road signal to warn us. All the best and hv safe drive
