IS MMN WAS CORORUPTED?
by shyam ranawat on May 28, 2009 04:10 PM

Who can tell me that who much Ministers have their criminal backgrounds in the present Ministry. What happened about the scandal of "PRATIBHUTI GHOTALA" occurred in the tenure of Sh. Man Mohan Singh, who was Governor in the R.B.I. How much MMS is responsible for that scandal of above 3,000 crores committed by Late Harshad Mehta.

Vilasrao Deshmukh

It is surprising that a man not considered good enough to be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and was asked to resign has been sworn in as Minister in Centre.

Once, he was failed in Maharashtra and now how he has been fit for Central Politics. This is old habits of Congressmen. Once caught in corruption in a State, he is rewarded in the Central. Hence, that was only drama of Congress to quit Vilasrao Deshmukh from CM ship.

Vilasrao was a taboo to whole Indians after 26/11. They talked about his laid back attitude, his casualness in taking Ramu on a walk thro' tour of terrorist damaged Taj. He was thrown out from the CM gaddi. People said it was his end. Now he is back in a position where he can do more damage on a larger scale at the national level. Congress thinks he can fight assembly elections in Maharashtra alone without NCP (on the lines of Rahul's UP's scheme of things. Wrong calculations. Rahul will be proved wrong. NCP is capable of bringing the issue of Sonia's foreign origin if it helps in fighting congress.

Antony one of the cleanest politicians in india, from Grassroots
by IndiaToday on May 28, 2009 03:38 PM  | Hide replies

Antony one of the cleanest politicians in india, from Grassroots ... mnay were expecting that this time it is his chance to become PM but unfortunately, he was sidelined this time too. MMS being too old and sick, it is a pity that Sonia and Congress leaders still sticked on to him and sidelined AK antony, a grassroot level politician, un corrupt and abve all a person of integrity.

I think it is because of his well known and publicly declared commitment to rationalism and atheism, which made him not acceptable to sonia and congress people. After all atheism too is part of hiduism and hindu culture.

AK Antony or nicknamed St. Antony or any person of his integrity/qualities can never become PM. He is capable of not towing the line of the first family. MMS, though individually clean, can be made to sign on a blank paper by the queen. MMS will be there till his health is good and make way for Rahul. India is having a DOON SCHOOL ERA. eka la Ashoka Era, Akbar Era etc. The History will only decide whether it is a good or bad period.

MMS is old but Antony is not a spring chicken either. I have heard about Antony being a honest politician but MMS does not have any dirt attached to him.

I do not remember any talk of Antony being considered for PM's post. Although Antony's credentials are non-disputable, he does not have a pan India image and therefore can not be equated to MMS.

All Men Under Oath
by Alice Janho on May 28, 2009 02:22 PM

The only anthem that brings tears to all Indians when we hear it as All Ministers take Oath,Only hope they understand what they are saying under oath.Sadly most of these same men and women ruled for 62 years and bought upon us poverty, misrule corruption and misery just a few Manmohanji,Vajpayee were different,Hope this does not happen again. One year term for all should have been implemented with accountability in duties and Head like Tharoor or Omar abdullah to dismiss them if they fail,If not all this is a waste a national waste of time and money.Perform or perish.
