I support your analysis
by manjunath ct on Jun 15, 2007 10:38 PM

Dear prem, i support and endorse your analysis and article. We should back such type of genius players or performers irrespective of whatever the field they are in.It is easy said than done,so before making any statementit is impt to oneself to be matured as for as the issue is concerned. In my opinion sachin should continue. All our support is there for him and there is lot of cricket left in him.

Sachin should use his talent
by Nadar chandran on Jun 14, 2007 04:33 PM

Sachin is very old so he should take retirement from cricket and start coaching Indian Cricket team. He might be old and cannot play cricket but he still can teach cricket to Indian cricket team and iam sure he will be good coach for Indian team

sachine Tendulkar
by sivam sundaram on Jun 06, 2007 06:41 PM

it will be better for te people who considers Mr. sachine as their God not to compare him with freedom fighters.Freedom fighters did not take money for their duty. But sachine despite his long stint of por form has refused to leave the space for young players rather he has played politics in making the coach scapegoat for the failure of his . No, Sachine is more hungry for money than the interse of the Indian Cricket. It is time for him to bid adieu. He should learn to read writing on the wall instead of waiting someone to tell to about the exit.

Perhaps you are not aware that tendulkar has scored the most number of centuries against australia. If i am not wrong he has scored 7, the highest for himself against any nation. Incase you say he dosent play well on subcontinent pitches, let me give you the eveidence that he has scored 7 centuries against sri lanka. The centuries mention are only from one form of the game and that too in ODIs.

Sachin is still great.....albeit, a little slower, yet wiser!
by ALIRIO SALDANHA on Jun 02, 2007 04:18 AM

I was one of the bashers of Sachs, until I read the stats.

Well, you'll got it all to the T.

And understandably so, how can this guy be the same, like he was - say 10 years ago. And the team depends on him as an anchor, yet he goes for his shots.

I think that India's current and recent past 'survival' has been mainly centred around Dravid and Sachin. How many times has Dravid come to the rescue with his "The Wall" role? Times and again.

As for the rest of the team, most of the players play in patches, yoyo, up and down. There is no consistency.

India will need Sachin for sometime more, until they can find some more stable players who can 'remain'in the team permenantly. Even Shewag has been yoyo for a long time now.

Tendulkar has been one of the best bets for the team for a long time, and health and fitness permitting, should go on for a long time more.

All the best Sachin,

AL in Australia

To,
Mr.Prem Sanjay Vuthandam ,

your article is to good and i hope after reading the same the critcs of Sachin stop critising ,
while repling your columns the Bangladesh tour is over and our hero ( Sachin ) was the man of the series ( scoring two centuries which include one inning not out , taking couple of wicktes and catchs )
his critics ( mostly media ) should shut their mouth against sachine

the form can go ( which never gone after reading the statitcs of your columns ) but clss never ends

you are absolutely right. tendulkar is one of the greatest players. you can't expect him to score a century in all his matches. he surely has atleast three to four years of cricket in him.
