1) Drop uttapa 2)drop agarkar Nothing against them .Let veeru open with dada .if veeru or dada gets out Dravid should come and play normally. If both of them get out dravid and yuvi should come . Yuvi does not start well against spin bowlers. Sachin is best against murali . If he can handle him then half of the battle is won. If we bowling first please include sreesanth . Sreesanth should start with zaheer . Instead of uttapa please include harbarjhan .Because srilanka has super left handers so harbhajan will be more than handful.Who is most dangerous player in srilanka Its silva . He is playing brillanty and kumble can fox him .so india should include 6 batsmen and five bowlers .sachin is also effective against lanka as a bowler. We will see what will happen. Whoever wins this match will be in semifinal for sure . Let the best team win

dun tell me Sachin is good against Murali who has bowled him out many times..i think play in reverse order...and bowl also in reverse order..what say!!
i am confident India will surely lose against Sri Lanka and so hope Bermuda to defeat Bangladesh ...so that India still makes to super eight ..or else ther'll be no craze to watch the balance show...

I guess you dont read the articles properly. This has been mentioned in the article itself.
Sri Lanka is playing very well now. Its very difficult to beat them on 23rd. So if India looses to SL and B'desh goes to the next round, you will have 2 lousy teams ( B'desh & Ireland) playing the big 6 for the next one month. I bet, each time they would get thrashed and sent home humiliated. As for the viewing public, especially India and Pakisthan, this WC will go done in history as the worst experience. The funny thing about this WC format is that you have the round robin league only in the 2nd round. Any way, forget cricket and do some thing better.
If one goes by the way india is playing currently, then beating sri lanka is very unlikely. Look how sri lanka has beaten both bermuda and bangladesh. Even if india goes to next round,it can not go very far - just look at the quality cricket the Aussies,Kiwis, south africans etc.are displaying. So much for this overhyped team namely, 'team india'. It is ridiculous how it's "world's best batting line-up" is living upto its' image.Let us be frank with ourselves -not indulged in unnecessary patriotism by claiming something wich we are not, anyway patriotism is the last resort of the scoundrels!!!

good one man!! but already its been told that India has to BEAT Srilanka...
If India loses and Bangladesh also loses - India and Bangladesh would be tied on points - in which case, would run rate be the deciding factor or the result in their encounter be the deciding factor ?

If Bangladesh Loses with bermuda, and even India loses with Srilanka, India will Through Super 8 round, because of good run rate then bangladesh.

If India Loses and Bangladesh also loses then India, Bangladesh and Bermuda will end up two points each. In that case India having a better runrate will go through super 8. If any two teams tie, then head-to -head will be between those two teams will be deciding factor. When any three teams tie then net run rate would be a deciding factor

"India can still make it to Super-8 despite losing to Sri Lanka on 23rd. But for that Bangladesh has to lose to Bermuda"
All the best India. 100 crores of Indians are waiting for the WC 2007..

good question...I think it will be based on the run-rate only.. Rule of considering the previous encounter bet the tied teams has been shelved
