mistake of team mgmt,
by r venkataraman on Mar 22, 2007 02:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BCCI [selectors and team mgmt] made mistakes at the last moment in grooming indian team for world cup. they spoiled pathan and did not give chances to the freshers for getting in to the groove properly

They will not allow pathan and sreesanth this match also. AGARKAR cannot be replaced for his performances?

Agarkar has failed in 2 matches; besides taking 3 wickets against bermuda which every body know he didn't got by any wicket taking balls but by pure fortune. The problem with team mgmt is that they cannot try Srisanth in very big neck to neck game against Srilanka; since he is didn't has the match practice and also not experienced the windies conditions.

Seems like they will continue with Agarkar.

Boys! Pack up and come back to india. You are needed here and not in windies. Commercials are waiting. We have seen enough from you guys already. Our team raises the blood pressure of all indian people which is not good for healthy india. Even team reaches super 8, again people need to do so many calculations, lot of if's and but's to see india in Semifinal. Up's and Down's of BP is not good.
Let all watch sania's tennis match where we don't have any expectations.LOL.

Dear Team Members and Coach
Any homework done? Player by player OF SRILANKA - any strategy worked out? Fielding strategy and balling strategy? OR as usual get up from bed and go on playground.
God help those who help themselves. I believe in God.
What to hope?

Dear,
Are you not an admirer of Tagore%u2019s song? Don%u2019t you enjoy Satyajit Ray%u2019s film? You were not proud when Amartya Sen won the Nobel Prize in economics! Don%u2019t you respect Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose%u2019s sacrifise, the way he led Ajad Hind Fauj against the British? Don%u2019t you love Saurav%u2019s cover drive? They are all Bengalis but don%u2019t forget they are Indian first. My friend you, Sheuli, Partha we all are Indians first. Why you are fighting? That is why outsiders take advantage and can harm our nation. Please try to forget your regional entity and be an Indian. We are proud for Sachin, Saurav, Rahul, Kumble and others because they are our national hero and not for their regional entity.
Thanks & Regards

Satyajit Ray is not to be compared with Tagore. The latter is a gem. Satyajit Ray is a fraud who lived by making films for foreign audience by depicting all bad things only about the country. If I were the ruler of the country and SR was alive, I will have him shot.
But Tagore is a pride of our Nation.

you should be in a mental hospital. did you watch ray's film and read his books? with your education and intellect it is too much asking. don't take it personally my friend, my request don't be stupid. go and resarch about ray's work and then tell me what the mistake you were doing? if you don't watch his film with an open mind it is your loss only.
thanks & regards

India should field first
by sharnag pant on Mar 22, 2007 02:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India should field first. As any score India puts up if they bat first, our bowling is not good enough to take care of Jayasurya and company. However, if we bowl first, luck may favour us and we bowl out SL for a reasonable score. This also ensures that we play/bat to make sure SL qualifies for the 2nd round and not Bangladesh as then we can carry forward 2 points. This aint match fixing.
Remember how Australia batted slowly against Windies in 1999 to ensure NZ do not qualify.

always not teh case....first, utilise ur strong points immediately when tehre is no pressure, and then our weak point automatically gets motivated..so batting first is advisable always..recollect 2003 WC against lanka and aussie..

India should LOOSE for good cause...
by chs on Mar 22, 2007 02:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I would like to see INDIA to be in Super 8. But, I wish INDIA should loose the match against SL. If TEAM INDIA loose against SL, we can expect LOT of senior(so called experience)players like SACHIN, GANGULY, SEHWAG, DRAVID to retire from any form of CRICKET.

We can expect a totally new TEAM INDIA with YOUNGSTERS....

In case if they win against SL, they will be in SUPER 8, and same OLD STORY will repeat with this SO CALLED, MUCH HYPED INDIAN PLAYERS....

The following players should be kicked out even if (unlikely) India wins WC.
1. Sachin
2. Ganguly
3. Dravid
4. Sehwag
5. Harbajan
Then we can start rebuilding the team with people who want to really play for the country.
