Indian to return home??
by Biswajit Ghoshal on Mar 22, 2007 03:03 PM  Permalink

Given Sri Lanka's performance yesterday with Bangladesh, batting fist on the same pitch where India lost against Bangladesh, it is very unlikely that India will win the game - unless bookies get it done, by heavily rewarding the SL players to play below potential. Nonetheless, I wish good for the Indian team against Sri Lanka.

Dear friends, our life is full of positive and negative things starting from our birth, until our death. We have to survive by enjoying the happiness of positive things, and sadness of negative things.
1. If we are born alive that is a ve thing.
2. If we are born dead that is a -ve thing.
3. If we are healthy that is a ve thing.
4. If we are sick that is a -ve thing.
5. If we pass in exams that is a ve thing.
6. If we fail in exams that is a -ve thing.
7. If we are employed that is a ve thing.
8. If we are unemployed that is a -ve thing.
9. If we have children that is a ve thing.
10. If we are childless that is a -ve thing.
11.If we are financially sound that is ve thing.
12. If we are financially weak that is a -ve thing.
13. If we win a game that is a ve thing.
14. If we loose a game that is a -ve thing.
So instead of criticising our players, pray for their win and hope for a better performance from them.

Lets be Positive and wait for the result. Let India fight it out in the middle and result of win or lose should not matter.
This is what media is doing all along just to earn few extra bucks, hype & more hype and business flows. Let the media be sensible and talk hockey for some time.

Dear friends

When I read all the messages ,many people do not fancy india winning .

Please recall what happened in previous world cups.

In 2003 kenya defeated srilanka ,srilanka entered semifinals.

In 1999 aussies were in the same situtation as India are in now

In 1996 Kenya defeated westindies

westindies entered semifinals

India should realize that everything is not over after the loss against bangla.

India should plan accordingly and play .

India and srilanka are equal in many respects

in terms of strengths and weakness.

Ads are byproducts of being famous. How many of you wont accept ads tell me frankly. Its part of game . companies pay because we watch .Stop watching cricket. Both the teams are equal .

We have the same team last month even though without murali and vass. Srilanka can defeat India . INDIA CAN ALSO WIN AGAINST SRILANKA.

There are lot of external commercial reasons that would enable India qualify into supereight. Forget performances!!

You can't be more correct. ICC will take care that India reaches the next round. The reason being that...if India makes an early exit....half of the revenues will be lost due to sponsor pull out. After all we Indians contribute the lions share of the ICC revenues..So I think there will be a sort of 'Official' Match Fixing and India will beat Lanka to get through to Super 8

India Vs. Sri Lanka
by Rakesh Sharma on Mar 22, 2007 02:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ajit Agarkar has dismissed Jayasuriya and Sangkara the most number of times. He is the most successful Indian bowler against the Sri Lankans.
HE HAS TO BE IN THE TEAM ANY COST.

Some people have been repeatedly writing about his failures in the first two ODIs. 79 runs in Twenty overs @3.95 runs per over and 3 wickets at an average of 26.33 inspite of the catches dropped by Ganguly and Harbhajan are not bad figures. Some experts may have felt that he should have taken some early breakthroughs but it doesn't happen every time. He is surely going to take some wickets in the gams against Sri Lanka.

you must be kidding me. agarkar is not a real material. India is wasting one place by using him in every match. Infact we're playing with 9 players in everymatch. I am including sehwag as well. Irfan should be included for the match against srilanka.

Dear Beloved Indians,

Let's pray for Good. Be it Cricket or any thing else, whenever India wins or gains, every Indian are winning/gaining. As an Indian, we should always think for the good of our nation and not about any body in single (Tendulkar or Dravid etc.).

Be Cheerful!
