Psychologically Indian players do not like to fight and they want wins to come with out any reason.
Friday will be a test for whole team members, whether they are tough or tender. But at last, they earn lakhs of rupees with out any effort.

why you people are always talking about money?? Are you not earning??? Are you not trying to find some loop holes in IT, Sales tax and all to save some money??? Everyone is earning and so as cricketers!!! If you are not performing well, then is your company stop paying you??? They are playing and earning, thats all....

They are already getting paid for playing, as salary. Their earning is from extra activities. I will not pay to an employee who earns from extra curricular activities, and ignores real work in the company. I would fire such employees who do additional work in office time. They should spend that extra time in practice to improve their performance

Are you paying to indian team? No public money is involved here.

This si the problem with INdians. They dont even bother to talk about polititcians who are corrupt and eat public money, but always criticises criciketers who r trying to give 100%. But every individual will have a bad and good day. nobody is a human machine.

that's what I am trying to say. Lankans will take revenge of the last series they lost against India and the 5-1 series they lost in India in 2005. India is going to get crushed as hell. My predictions is that Lanakans will score around 320 runs and India will be all out for less than 150 runs not because I know the future, that's because I trust the INDIANS that they will do that. Lankans will cause a Mayhem to the indians and you will soon see Sachin and Sourav in their homes in India respectively by Monday. So that you can take pictures and have photo sesssions with them.

India won't reach super 8s. the deed is done after they lost to Bangladesh. Beating Sri Lanka who are in such a good form? Forget it. the Sri Lankans won't want Indians to qualify for the Super 8s because they want easy teams to beat like Bangladesh and Ireland. Then they have New Zealand and England which they can easily tackle and South Africa and Australia which they will face a tough fight. Even if INdia reaches Super Eight, they will lose against each and every team even Ireland. India is a LOSER- complete loser. and people don't mark this as ABUSE, because there is nothing about India that I have abused. ITs just a simple fact and you can't ignore it.

Losing faith in India will get you nowhere. I will not disagree that our performance against Bangladesh was down right dismal. Remember, India can sometimes do things that we never thought possible. India has broken through a lot of milestones in these last couple of years and the team has it in them. Secondly, whether or not Sri Lanka would want India to go through to the Group of 8 is irrelevant. I don't think that motivates them to do any better or worse against teams. Bottom line is that every team wants to win- all we can do (here of course I am making the assumption that you are Indian which is not based on solid ground but oh well) is cheer our team on and hope for the best. For India!

I have lost faith in India right after they lost to Bangladesh. I was at least hoping they would score 200 to at least give tough fight. Sehwag showed a dismal performances in Warm Up games and a few games earlier against the Sri Lankan series in India. But still he was chosen to open. I have no Idea where IRFAN pathan isn't being played in place of Munaf Patel or Robin Uthappa. If Irfan is played in place of Munaf, an extra batsman which was very much needed against the Bangladeshis could have been fulfilled. I don't think that India has achieved a lot of ,milestones in the last couple of years? except winning against Pakistan by 4-1 and England by 5-1. But they also achieved by losing 4-1 to West Indies and 4-0 to South Africa. I guess that's a milestone too and no one should deny that.

DUde! Its not that I am not India and Its not even that I don't want to be optimistic. But the thing is that its my birthday on that day and I don't want India to lose. The last time India made a mess of my Birthday was thee 2003 world Cup Final. I know my birthday will be a mess again so I am preparing for it from the first by giving up hopes for India. if India wins, its good for all of us. If they don't they are out of the world cup. the only miracle we can expect is that Bermudans beat Bangladeshis. which is quite next to impossible.

99% of occasions whoever bats latter win the match. see in case of bangaldesh as well. had india opted go field first they would hv probably won. its rediculous that dravid was behaving like fool in the group in bangla match. the whoe experience had gone down the drain.

The same pitch and aginst same opposition, Srilanka had scored 318 whereas India scored just 192. You can't say the wrong decision to bat first after losing the toss is not at all true. India could not bat well on that day due to pressure created by themselves after losing toss.

Why go to next stage if loose to SL?

If India can't beat Bangladesh and Sri Lanka then why shall it go to next Stage at all? It is not justified. It is rightly seeded Eighth.
Let it beat SL convincingly and proceed to S-8
