Mr.Rajneesh, How do u think India can still make to super * despite losing to Srilanka???
Even if Bangladesh loses to Bermuda, India & Bangladesh will be on same points, though india will have better runrate, head to head winner Bangladesh can only move to super 8.
So its clear that India has to win, let it be off the last ball with one wicket remaining or by 1 run margin.

In such a scenario, India, Bangladesh and Bermuda will be tied on points. The next decider is Net Run Rate. Whichever team has better NRR will qualify.

Man if Bermuda defeats Bangladesh, all 3 India, Bangla and Bermuda will have 1 wins each. So the final outcome will be NR. In that case India goes to Super 8. But I wud luv India to defeat SL and then go into super 8. I think they can do it.

India can make it to super 8 despite losing to Lankans provided Bermuda beats B'desh. In that case bermuda, b'desh and india will end with two points each and india having better run rate will head towards super eight.

Oops, the improbability of Bermuda winning a match made me forget that Bermuda will also get 2 points......
any how....lets welcome bangladesh to the next level.... atleast Ponting got his answer in bangladesh & Ireland for quastioning ICC for adding minnows....sorry (Now they are looking strong on Field when compared to our great heroes looking strong only on paper)
A team having been thrashed by Bangladesh, has no hopes to offer to its fans. The grand show against Bermuda, a team with hardly any quality bowlers, will never be repeated against SL. You can expect Indian team to catch the ealiest available flight back home on Saturday.

Exactly. This is the way to look at it. Even rains cannot help India tomorrow.
My dear fans... We are approaching the game with complete anxiety, dismay, and also apprehensions whether we will win or loose. This way, you already lost the match. If it was Canada, Bermuda, Netherlands, we would have tried. But against Sri Lanka, no chance. Even India cannot beat Bangladesh and Ireland. So let us spend some time tomorrow elsewhere than watching a lost match.

every game/sport is on continuous process basis. there is no question that we lost in 1996 and we will lose tomorrow. human being must be an optimist. let us hope all the best to India.

i doubt it... never in my life will I see India wining the world cup!! never....
India will definitely win win the match if it goes with a opening pair of Tendulkar and Ganguly, sehwag as the third man to go and uttappa should be dropped.. Hope our
Team India will win this worldcup by a margin win in this match..
Let us see wat happens wait till Saturday Morning 3 30am..
India will win if its bowlers improve their line and length, plus plz make agarkar warm-up 12th man bench as we did in the last world cup to finish 2nd best team of the world. India`s touching mark of 300 runs will surely depend on how Dada Ganguly takes singles without wasting much balls.

no buddy not agarkar but dada is pathetic. still he plays a very selfish game. any how he wants to make 50 or 60 odd runs , he is not bothered about what his team requires

Buddy u r wrong this time. Dada doesnt play for himself. If that was so, he wudnt have come out of his crease to hit a 6 against bermuda and get stummped. He was on 89 at that time. I guess he hasnt scored a centuryin the lasty 3-4 years, so he wud have been more eager to get to the magical figure.

I don't know of what use is Agarkar's experience? He cannot bowl two deliveries at the same spot. A left and right hand combination is enough to make him start bowling wides. Instead of bowling a steady line and length, he goes for pace and starts bowling short. I wonder if he has learnt anything at all in all these years.

Absolutely true... AGARKAR IS THE MOST PATHETIC OF THE INDIAN BOWLERS. GUESS HE IS IN THE INDIAN TEAM ONLY BECAUSE OF OUR VERY MUMBAIKAR CHAIRMAN OF SELECTORS DILIP VENGSARKAR. Really dont understand the funda behind him being in the playing eleven when there are aggressive matchwinners like Sreesanth and Pathan, who have proved themselves again and again with their talent. Atleast they should try one of these 2 guys in this match after dropping Agarkar, or else if by chance India loses against Sri Lanka, these 2 players will be the spectators of the Indian team. World Cup khelne nikle thhe, west indies ghoom kar aa gaye.

Agarkar`s real test will be against best playing teams not against Burmuda and Bangladesh (who just played one good match). Agarkar has so far failed to impress like he did in his last tour of WI. Even minnow batsman were hitting him willingly. I will still bet for Pathan against SL for his killer wicket taking instincts.

Best bowler aginst Bermuda? That guy can't bowl to save his life. I always wondered ( for last 6 years or so) how the hell Agarkar gets into the team. If they think he is an allrounder, they are blind. If they think he is a bowler, that's even worse. Whatever happend to all that new crop of pace bowlers we had? Balaji? RP singh? and few others.. None of them are better than our stupid-always bowl close-never get the line straight-no pace-no swing-no good Agarkar?.

our other bowler also plyed in last match then why theirs avarage rate & wicket less than agarkar
Indians if they win the toss, would definetly field first. fielding second would make them tired to catch the plane in the evening and travelling to India.
