why blame the team...it is just 11 guys and they are all HUMAN......most definitely they can fail...The blame must go solely and wholly to the sports policies and politics of our country.....where the one and only resource we have in plenty i.e. manpower (billions of it) is totally ignored. In such a hugely populated country we cant find 11 guys who can play good cricket under pressure????? We are lazy to find better ones...so we simply pour crores and crores into the same players and ask them to play even when they are way past their prime and then the whole country expects them to do well!!!!!!pretty stupid blaming them guys what u need to do is beat the hell out of Pawar and the others responsible for this sorry mess.

Good point.
I would even go further and say, why should we have this crazy obsession for cricket, a game played by not even 20 nations. Let us support other sports, i.e. go and watch soccer, hockey, volleyball, etc on the grounds, become members of soccer and hockey clubs, extend patronage to these other sports.

By merely throwing money we will never get good sportsmen. We are academically oriented and do not have a good sports loving public. We prefer to encourage children to reach IIT's and IIM's and then play the game of cricket with a tennis ball at parks for recreation and we expect our team to be world champions.

There is nothing as 'the best' player. Every player goes through good/bad patches, and during his bad patch 'somebody' will be better than him.
Instead of playing the blame game, let's have faith in the current team and wish them best of the luck.

Don't comment like a layman. In my view Ganguly has placed India on the winning track. He supported Sehwag. And to remind you, Ganguly has played that superb innings with serious back pain. He has taken medical aid twice during the match against Bermuda. After all no team that is playing the World Cup is a minnow. Bangladesh is the example.

It was 114 balls, not 155 balls. And India needed someone to play the anchor role and support Sehwag. Ganguly did extremely well.

Definiyely Shewag needed some support at other end, but that doesnot mean that ganguly should not rotate the strike.

You're right, but he did look like he was trying to rotate the strike but perhaps more time was needed to adjust to the wicket, and instead of playing slowly when approaching his century he came down the wicket showing intent to get on with things and got stumped. It shows he's a team player.

Come on pooja don't tell me that he was able to find gaps to rotate strike. Becos of his strokes limitations he was not able to score at a steady pace and thats the reason he tried to do something different and got out on 89. look at dhoni is same match, he started scoring from the moment he arrived to the crease, similarly, tendulkar & dravid scored run a ball. so if they acn score even Ganguly should be able to do that . As along with Sachin & dravid he also has scored 10000 runs. So what happened to him now.

i agree with u. He also must score at brisk pace. But remember that he has come as an opener and the ball is new and it is difficult to play in the early part of the innings.Once the ball has softened he also started to increase the pace of his innings SRT and Dravid have come at a time when the ball is older and softer.so u can consider that fact also
