If India has beaten england, so what?
by Indian Saint on Jun 16, 2009 11:08 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even if India has won that match, India then have to beat SAfrica by 20 runs r 2 1/2 overs to spare (win in 17.3) to get into semis. India was 'almost gone' even if they have bet england. Wake up... Guys!

Sri Lanka is still not assured a place in semi-final. If they lose to New Zealand today, they are out of the world cup; pakistan's and new zealand's NRR being higher.

In IPL, you saw many captains performing better than Dhoni. My choice will be Yuvraj.

only one failure will not decide the future of indian captian he is good enough. I think the reson why india slumped is media they unnessary put mentaly stress on player if some is injure then why u put captain on firing line he is not the responsible and about the despute between dhoni and sehwag created by media itself and mentaly tourcher the players.

ya u r correct,,,,
when Team India was winning everyone was saying Dhoni is best captain ever in Indian Cricket History but after losing one match Dhoni has beome villain.......
though he is not a good batsman ,i must say.....
there must be rule in cricket of non-playing captainnnnnnn...........

hey before this worldcup u were saying Dhoni as a good captain and no one was saying that its his luck thats doing job only........
now after losing in one single tournament everyone is pointing over his captaincy skills... and blaming him
In cricket match winning is team effort and u cant blame captain only for the loss
he is a great leader

May be Yes, but definately Indians did not show the enthusiasm and eagerness to win as they had in the last World Cup.It was two man show i.e. dependent on Yuvraj or Pathan.

Dhoni
by arun raj on Jun 15, 2009 11:13 PM  Permalink

Dhoni made mistake right from the ipl match, that continues in the T20 world cup too. I think they had given up the match when the started bowl 18th over of the last match that played against england in terms of miss fields, careless in on field. Jadeja is a good player, but he didn't play any previous match in t20 world cup, then why he had been sent by dhoni when raina went off. I think there was no intent to the players to lift the t20cup once again.
