I live in the USA. I have never voted. My dad was a Congressi supporter ....at the time there was no BJP. I saw what Congress did. And I see what Modi and the BJP are doing. It is very clear that when it comes to development Modi represents Gujarat. The Congressis come from Delhi and go back to Delhi when the election is over.
On the issue of riots in Godhra: Modi did not start them nor did he participate. He is accused of not stopping them. One can accuse the Congress of similar cases were riots happened under Congress governments. The most known is the killing of Sikhs all over the country after Indira's death where it was organized by Congress.
The Congress governs India today. If the PM and Sonia and ruling Congressis are convinced that Modi is doing anything illegal, they have more power than Modi and must use the legal process and arrest him or try him through the judiciary. Congressis continue to abuse power and illiteracy by misinformation to the public. This must stop if India is to develop and grow or it risks being run by another foreign power just like Pakistan is being run by the USA.
As for development: In Modi's defense he has built roads, provided drinking water to all and provided a level of transparency not seen before. Congress had its chance and was rejected by Gujaratis because it did not provide the basics nor does it provide the growth help the state could get from the deep pockets of the Indian Government. If Modi was one of the Governors of a State in the US and similar thing had happened, Modi would have been tried and put on electric chair by now. I too have lived in the US and I have met many VHP functionaries, they are so polite there. See them in India, their attitude and actions, they are no different from Taliban.

It is the dollars that is fattening Sangh Parivar. Majority of their money come from the US. I live in India at present and I have seen the kind of hatred they are propagating. In the US they claim to be different on seeing their activity in India I am forced to thing the way I am expressing. I have been in some of their meetings too where they have circulated material of hatred.

if hindus in america want to contribute some for their religion then what's a problem. i m also hindu & bjp supporter. but i also like muslims. i have strong friendship relations with muslims guys in my college. there is a no place for strong non-gandhi leaders in congress.

Look at their brochure in US it is different. Look at their brochure in India, it is entirely different. This is the duplicity of Sangh Parivaar. Also in BJP there is no room for any non Sangh Parivaar people. I was the supporter of BJP when they use to get a couple of seats in Lok Sabha. I was and still a big fan of Mr. A.B. Vajpayee. But I dont like them right now because of the hate they propagate.

Congress has given so many primeministers from non gandhis.AS far as BJP is concerned it was valpayee only in 1955 and in 2007.where are there leaders?
HI... I am neither in favour of modi nor against him. but we need to look into the situation and reality. I am not from gujarat. I lived in MP and now in punjab. I have seen BJP and congress both in power. I have lot of friends in Gujarat. Other than riots issue Modi is a clean image man. He is one of the most honest politicians india have today. I am not against Muslim community at all. As this land belongs to Muslims they way it belong to Hindu's. But coz of few anti indian elements islam gets some bad name in the country and as well in the world. What we have heard of the riots is only from the media and congress which is not 100% right. The development in Gujarat in the last few years is fantastic. He is a good administrator, this even the media agrees. The living standard of common people in gujarat is much better than all the other states in India. Modi started his campaign with development issues only. ( all of you pls go thru the early speeches) It was only congress who forced him and the election campaign in Gujarat and convereted into communal elections. ( i can proove it). Dnt vote for Modi if you think he is a hindu and hinduism can only surivive if he is there. AS Hinduism in itself is well capable of surviving. Pls vote for Modi only on the issue of the development and coz him only Gujarat is no.1 state in India today. The Other local BJP leaders doesnt like him coz he is not letting them make money. He growing fast and prooving himself to be the best CM gujara

Leadership in family lines are found throughout history in various cultures. Just because they belong to particular family should not disqualify anyone from leadership roles. It is the decision of any particular party to accept or reject such leaders and then the electorate. Hitler was not succeeded by his son or grand son.
