The election results in Gujarat is a slap on the face of the Congress and its allies. There were speculations that the Gujarat elections would be a closely contested one. In fact a day before the counting it was speculated that the Congress may even win. Congress must now appreciate that its secularism or pseudo-secularism card will not work. Modi gave a clean and efficient administration. The common man in Gujarat is satisfied. And that is what matters.
If Congress does not pull up its socks and get rid of its Gandhi dynastic rule, it may well get ready to lose Delhi as well.
We salute the people of Gujarat for showing the way for rest of India by giving unambigous and clear vote. The people have voted for development and good governance (both of which are unknown concepts for the Kangress).
Lets hope the people of Karnataka take up some lessons from people of Gujarat

You are right. We have been taken for ride for a very long term by congress & communists. It is time India will vote them out to the wilderness for the next century or two.
To the surprise of everyone specially So called secular NGOS & English Media, 10% of Muslims have voted for MODI. We welcome these people who has not fallen to false propoganda of News & TV media and has voted for prgress & developement. Modi has promised to make Gujrat equal to the Euroepean economy by 2010. Let's support him and make gujrat the model state fpr developement in India.

Lesson for those Hindus who lump all Muslims together. Please be careful in your posts. President Kalam is a fine example of an Indian Muslim who loves this country as much as we do. In fact most Muslims also love this country but they are too brainwashed to remove anti BJP blinkers
Just because that idiot Sonia opened her filthy mouth, Modi could win again! Manmohan'd comments were so cheap and stupid too.. Had he shut his mouth by not trying to cash-in Minority votes, Congress's could have got some more seats if not the Govt. MSN

Gujarathis are smarter than you think. Yes they laughed at Sonia's stupid statement, but they voted based on performance. Now that is how a matured population behaves!
It is pity that muslims still belive in psudo secular congress. it is high time intellectual muslims sholud join hands with MODI and look forward to real developments among all race

Yes They will.
Many of my muslim friends have voted for MODI. As per my estimation atleast 7-10% of Muslim votes have gone in favour of Modi. ( Not necessarily for BJP)
