Welcome the disaster...
by Prabhaker Cirium on Jul 21, 2010 09:48 AM  Permalink

Whatever few people that are left to fight for the cause of betterment of nature (and in turn us) are being wiped out for the short term goal of making an immediate profit; ban all mining and increase presence of Forest Guards to protect our nature. Looks like it is not only the Reddy Brothers who are destroying nature on pretext of mining, this disease is all over the country - enforce the ban on mining and ban export of those minerals taken from these sensitive areas.

The intense action must go on..
by bihari babu on Jul 21, 2010 09:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No need to be afraid after such killings. the fight must go on. lot of good people with clean heart get scared. And they say, - if good people keep quite, the bad one will hold the microphone. if they have control the whole society pays heavily. even generation to come pays. the sanskara itself is ruined.
Its time we focus on builing our home i.e. India a beautiful place. we have wasted enough time on gossoping, blaming.
its time to focus on building world clas road, flyovers, schools, park.
we should contribute our money, effort, attention in building and maintaining them. Otherwise we cant keep leaving in chaose and dirt. Lezy govt employee cant do much. there has to be people centered revolution in india if we want better life standard. there is no short cut. we need thousands of leader in every field. jai hind.

rti activist shot dead in gujerat
by biswanath roy on Jul 21, 2010 09:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

rti activists, human rights activists, ngo's etc are either being shot dead,or put behind the bars in gujerat as per this report, and the latest issue of "tehelka" magazine. it appears that the gujerat govt led by modi is unable to tolerate any queries about their govt's style of working.

My dear friend, its not Modi who has killed that RTI activist. It may be the hired sharp shooters of underworld that might have been hired by business tycoons who are involved in illegal mining. I am Gujarati, staying in Ahmedabad, and am sure that our leader Mr. Modi would surely bring those involved to justice within the period of 6 months. In Gujarat, we have proven track record of early justice. A girl of 16 years was raped in Surat by Top Notch Police Inspectors, but they were also put behind bars and charge sheet was filed and justice given within 6 months.

Gujarat is unlike other parts of the country where justice is delayed. Because justice delayed is justice denied.

Don't start shouting about Godhra. Whatever happened was sad but it was spontaneous reaction of people against massacre of Godhra Train Carnage. If so much populations goes rampant, no government can control the outrage.

Jai Hind.

U r right in saying that Gujrat is not like other country as such type of masscare never happened anywhere in India.
Shame on you. Shame on Modi

we should not just condemn the killing we should seek justice
by ratheesh raman on Jul 21, 2010 09:33 AM  Permalink

If anyone care for our country the cold blooded murder of Mr. Jethwa should not go scot free. It is the utmost priority case. If we can instill a deterrant fear in the minds of the mafia that killing of the whistle blowers is very very serious offense, these guys will think twice (ten times) before embarking on one like it.

it will encourage more whistle blowers....which will reduce all our common enemy the corruption
