Election time
by stephen on Sep 26, 2008 01:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With Amar Singh's vitriolic against Shivraj Patil, it is clear that the honeymoon has been shortlived.
BJP should not allow church attacks etc to happen in its states and if does should take prompt action. The election plank for the party should clearly be Roti , Kapda aur Makan , hyper inflation , Pathetic internal security and never seen before terrorism and lack of political will of the current Govt to solve it.
Conversions etc should not be created as an election issue .

Selective targeting
This refers to the news item: Do more: Central team Even as the UPA government is finding it difficult to come to grips over the terrorist attacks, it has chosen to send a Central team to Karnataka to get first hand information.

People are at loss to agree with the UPA government’s selective targeting of the State with the attacks on churches. The law and order problem is not as alarming as made out to be. It is time the Centre keeps its own house in order by focussing on issues of internal security and external threat.

ELECTION IS THE REASON FOR THE CHURCH ATTACK. THANK GOD. You yourself told the truth. Where is the temple in Ayodhya where you demolished Babri Masjid. Giving that offer you got power once. So people are watching OFFER Vs REALITY.

Mind your business Do not try to mend others
by sakshi on Sep 26, 2008 01:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Writing on wall is 'Mind your business Do not try to mend others'
This is applicable to all religions and parties.
We want others to bear insults but when it comes to us we cry foul. Is it right.
Does karnataka CM becomes a Hindu CM as addressed by the christian leader?

Saying lies does not save anybody. My religious people are 'peace loving people' and 'Brotherhood is in our blood' and 'We have constitutional right to carry our work [ conversion, luring and coercion] and in the name of so many 'names' funds are poured to carry this work. Every one hates it.
Silent majority of all 'Religions' should see that this minority of all 'religions' do not trouble the lives of all 'peace loving people'

In the name of 'some advantage' - political, cultural and regional [ language etc] we are all divided horizontally and vertically and integrating these pieces into a 'United body' has to be done now.

Majority of Hindus respect Jesus.
But that does not mean you have to change your religion and forget totally your "Indianess". We have our own culture which has to be conserved.
You are not aware of many facts.
1. Read about what happened in Goa during Portugese rule.
2. Search in BBC site about how Hindus were forced to convert or killed in Tripura.
3. Read more about how an international conspiracy is working on conversion in India !

Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.

The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.

Why Orissa

Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.

In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Answer - The bias of the anti-Hindu electronic English media is evident in the hyper excited reporting of the church attack. The likes of Girish Karnad, U R Ananthamurthy and Mahesh Bhatt Teesta Shabana Azmi Barka Dutt Sardesai know which side of their bread is buttered. Their selective amnesia is amusing. Did these raise any voice in support of amaranth pilgrims protest or against durga pooa protest

Nobody talks about the brutal killling of Swami Laxmanananda and his 4 associates, burning of the Radhabai chawl that killled 16 people, which provoked sharp reaction from the Hindu community, Godhra train carnage and Marad killling which was buried silently by so called seculars.

They never react on lakhs of Hindus being displaced from Kashmir. These opportunists are no better than traitors of the past who are ready to sell the dignity of the country for their selfish gains.

STOP SUPPORTING CRIMINALS

Well ... Lemme remind you about Da vinci Code, that was released a few years ago. Did u hear any violence. The church protested , but peacefully....

If anyone has issues, with any person or organisation , there is a court of law. Taking law into your own hands makes you a criminal or a thug. Nothing more.. So stop calling any fundamentalist , whether Hindu muslim , christian , buddhist , sikh,.... and Indian. A Fundamentalist is just a CRIMINAL.

Look how congress is endorsing and legalizing forced conversions

The problem of conversion will automatically solve if the root cause is traced and the financial problems of the poor in Hindu religion are properly dealt with, said State Youth Congress President Krishna Bairegowda.
